Do you take my Insurance ?

My practice is fee for service, which means I don't work directly with insurance companies. I can, however, send you a monthly "superbill," which you can submit to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. You should contact your insurance provider to inquire about your annual deductible, and what percentage of psychotherapy fees you can get reimbursed for with out-of-network providers. If you are planning on meeting with me online, you should also ask your insurance provider about any specific requirements for reimbursement of tele-health services.

If you receive health benefits through Medicaid you likely do not have OON benefits. I provide special guides and resources just for medicaid recipients

Why dont you accept Insurance ?

At the moment, I don't accept health insurance, and I'd like to share with you why. Navigating the intricacies of insurance panels and billing is not only time-consuming but also costly. Moreover, the reimbursement rates from insurance often don't reflect the value of the therapeutic work we do. Running my practice, these considerations are vital for me. By choosing a private pay model, I'm able to offer the high-quality, tailored care that I believe every one of my clients deserves.

I completely understand that not everyone can manage the costs of therapy out-of-pocket. If this is the case for you, please know that I'm more than willing to help by providing referrals to therapists who do accept insurance.
